This second excursion into Viola Grace’s imagination is every bit as wonderful as the first Sector Guard adventure. Again we have a strong female character, with a fantastic sense of her own worth.

As Aggie and Haaro grow closer, there is that fantastic sense that these two are meant for each other, and that it is only a matter of time until they become mates in the truest sense. Haaro comes across as old fashioned and slightly Victorian in nature, insisting that Cor perform a marriage ceremony before they spend time alone in the shuttle taking them to Morganti, while Aggie is a bit more modern. The romantic energy is definitely there, and the culmination of their relationship is well worth the wait.

I enjoyed this every bit as much as the first book, and I am definitely looking forward to more in this series. This book is great for science fiction fans who like their romance to be a bit on the unusual side, and their happy ever after intact.
