Five angels for Abandon from FAR!

Abandon

"Abandon is book three of the Half Blood Club by author Viola Grace. This author has created a wonderful group of friends who are there for each other, the secondary characters drop in and out and don’t overpower the main character’s story; in this case George’s. Abandon carries on a wonderful story line; it just keeps getting better and better. George is tough, smart and sassy, something else she has in common with her friends. The male counterpoints are yummy; Rikard was definitely an alpha who had his world turned upside down. the Half Blood Club is a series that is fast paced and hot, hot, hot, Viola Grace has earned some serious kudos from me. I came upon the series out of order but these books can be read as is. My difficulty was after I had met the women I had to know more about them. Thank you Ms. Grace for giving me a respite from the every day, Abandon was a great read!"

Review from Joyfully Reviewed!!

"Abandon is a super hot story about being in control of your own life, and making choices that are right for you.  This is fantastic story with lots of hot sex, as well as a well thought out history and an additional realm where the dragons can live without detection.  Those who are not fans of shape-shifters should avoid this book as there is one scene that has both Graylin and Rikard partially shifted while having sex; personally I thought it was one smokin’ hot scene.  I am off to try to find book 4 in the series as Abandon has me hooked."

Review from Romance Junkies Five stars!!!

"This is the first Viola Grace book I’ve read but I have to tell you this will definitely not be my last. I loved the vast array of characters in this storyline. Graylin’s friends are a riot and her mother is amazingly supportive - they’re just the sort of people everyone should have in their lives. Ms. Grace's sense of humor shines through the pages and brings these characters to life so that you can't help but love them. ABANDON is the third book in the HALF BLOOD CLUB series and from what I’ve read here it’s a series you won’t want to miss. I’m now going to have to go read the first books of this series, MAGUS SHIFT and AFFINITY, and of course get a copy of ARCHIVE, the last book in this series which is now available as well."

Graylin, aka George to her friends, aka Grace to her chosen mate, Rikard. With the help of her friend, Jinx, Graylin conjures up some spells to seduce Rikard. But even though Graylin has chosen to mate with Rikard, she isn’t about to let him take over and be the boss of her.

Rikard, on the other hand, has plans of his own. He discovers the truth about Graylin and will stop at nothing to make her submit and be his mate. He even plans to declare Graylin his to the council. Rikard just didn’t think Graylin would have plans of her own.

Graylin Treel is on a deadline. With only a few hours to go, she needs to put herself in the path of the dragon she has chosen as a mate. The problem is, he thinks she is a pathetic human. When the glamour drops and their senses are aroused, can any structure of man take the heat of two dragons in the throes of passion?

Viola Grace has a great mind and has such a way of making the readers fall in love with her books. Especially with her wicked and great sense of humor that she brings into her stories.

I think that this story is a gem. It has a strong heroine, Graylin, plus an alpha male, Rikard.
When these two get together the passions come out scorching hot! I love the banter between Graylin and Rikard.  I think it’s great that the women show the men in this story that their ways of thinking are history like the cavemen and discover that times they are a’ changing.

I give this an overall rating of 4 ½ Enchantments.
